Bottles and containers of different sizes and functions with lids.

Instructions
This is an activity that is very easy to set up.
All you need is a couple of empty plastic bottles and lids. It’s tough for little hands to put a lid on a bottle, they might need a lot of practice. But when they master it will be very satisfying for them.
Benefits:
Here little ones are developing their fine motor skills, grasping and shape and size recognition.
How to adapt:
When they get a bit older, this activity can be done with a larger variation with lids of different sizes and they need to pick the right one.
You can also add objects to the jars for them to extract, make it harder by giving them wooden tweezers to do so.
With different items inside and when the lid has been secured these can also be used as shakers - you can explain how different items will create different sounds.
