What you need

  • Bag / cloth opaque

  • Stone

  • Clip

  • Leaf

  • Dice

  • Mini toys

  • Etc...

Instructions


Simply put some everyday household items in a bag (a cloth opaque bag works best) and ask your child to identify each item using touch only.


Note


Make sure your child can identify the majority of the items other wise they will become uninterested.


Benefits:


This helps to refine the child's stereognosis sense and usually it's a lot of fun too.


Good to know:


The mystery bag, also called the stereognosis bag, was designed to help children develop their ability to visualize objects using only their sense of touch. This work is well-loved by little ones because it is both challenging and fun.
